CHALLENGES
Currently SUNRISE FOOTBALL CLUB has been thriving on donations from well-wishers, friends and supporters. However such support is not sufficiently enough for SUNRISE FOOTBALL CLUB children to operate in a steady way to help the children with their education, getting soccer equipment’s, treatment of injuries which are unavoidable, providing clothing to some of the children and transportation to distant places for matches. Next year(2015) the under 17 team will be playing in the lower division of the Kenya Football Federation League and there is need to raise an annual budget to cater for participation fee, Transport to and from distant playing fields which at the moment we can’t raise alone but we too can’t let these lads back into the streets.
Specifically, SUNRISE FOOTBALL CLUB needs the following to be able to operate efficiently and effectively:
- Monetary Funding/Donations mainly to cater for our participation in the league and in case of major injuries
- Donations of either new or used soccer equipment like soccer balls, uniforms, boots, training cones, water cans, training cones, beeps and such like equipments.
- Health care
- Transport
- Medicine
- Club House
- Scholastic materials
- Feeding of the disadvantaged children
